Built like architecture, worn like nothing.
The bodice is a piece of engineering: eighteen steel bones on a coutil frame, lined in cotton so it breathes through a five-hour reception. The satin over it is smooth enough that none of that is visible.

The cloth
A heavy silk-and-rayon weave from Como. It holds a shape rather than following the body, which is why the seams can be so few — the cloth does the structural work.

Care & preservation
Silk of this weight is cleaned by hand only. After the wedding we collect the gown, clean it in the salon and seal it in an acid-free box — included for the first year. Never store it on a hanger; the weight of the train will pull the shoulder seams within a season.
Delivery & timeline
From first fitting to final press is twenty-two weeks. Book at least seven months before the date so there is room for a second body change. Rush work is possible for a fee, but it costs the second fitting.
How this one is made.
Weeks 1–5
The frame
Eighteen bones cut, tipped and set. The frame is fitted on the body before any silk touches it.
Weeks 6–12
The lining
Cotton coutil, flat-felled, so nothing can be felt from the inside after five hours.
Weeks 13–18
The satin
Laid over the frame under tension so there is not a single wrinkle at the waist.
Weeks 19–24
The flare
The skirt breaks at the knee. Where exactly is decided on you, standing, in your shoes.
